Hi there!
This year I went to Joshua Tree and Palm Springs on summer vacation.
Well it was full of new things to me and would like to share some of them with you.
I am thinking to make the travel guide of Palm Springs as well :)

今年の夏休みは初めてジョシュアツリーに行ってきました！
パームスプリングスにも行ったのですが
こちらのガイドはまた今度書こうとおもいます❤︎
ジョシュアツリーはロサンゼルスから一番近い国立公園なので
ネバダやユタ、アリゾナなどの国立公園は行ったことあるし...と
他に行くところを探されていらっしゃる方などにおすすめです！
WHERE TO SEE
- inside the park-
Hidden Valley is one of the most well-known points for hiking.
This point has a picnic area which makes it a great option in spring or fall.
(It is too hot to have lunch here in summer unfortunately...)
Hidden Valleyは1時間コースのハイキングなどあり、かなりひらけたポイントです。
私たちは暑すぎて歩くのを諦めたけど…
ピクニックエリアもあって、アウトドアテーブルなんかもあるので
春や秋の過ごしやすい気候の時期にはいいね！
One of the most common places to be taken pictures at.
The big rock looks like the skull which scares me a little...
You could climb up really close to this rock if you would like.
スカルに似たかたちの岩。
（スカルモチーフとか全然好きじゃないのでちょっと怖い…）
よくインスタであげられているスポットでもあります。
ロッククライミングまではいかないけど、近くの岩にのぼって景色を楽しめます！
This place is quite away from those points I just wrote about.
You go drive down to south for about 20-30 mins but it is worth if you really like seeing cactus!
Believe it or not, I love seeing cactus so I was like "I gotta go!!!"
But this tragedy happened....
I got stung by a bee...
as you can see the sign in the picture says,
there are so many bees around there (depends on the season though.)
Please be 100% careful when visiting.
チョヤ・カクタス・ガーデンはサボテン好きな人は行って損はありません！
上のポイントからはまぁまぁ離れているので、車で20、30分くらいかな。
私はなぜか普段からサボテン見るのが大好きなので、絶対行こう！と思い行きました。
するとこの看板通り…そこにはかなりの量の蜂が…
人生で初めて蜂に刺されました。
蜂が出るのは季節にもよるらしいですが、雨が降った後とかは水を求めているので出やすいみたい。
行かれる方は気を付けてください！！
サボテンは迫力あるので行く価値ありです。

Honestly I've never seen this kinda cute gift shops anywhere else!
Such a western-ish looking ❤︎
Even if you don't plan getting any souvenir, please stop by and take pictures!
外観がウエスタンテイストでとっても可愛いお土産屋さん！
なかなかこんなに可愛い場所はないので、お土産を買う予定がなくても、
ぜひ写真撮影だけにも寄ってほしい場所です！
If you like an art outside of frames, this is the place to go.

砂漠の真ん中にある、屋外型のアートミュージアム。

WHERE TO eat
Food definitely takes a lot of part for any trip.
This time we sure wanted to take advantage of staying at home using airbnb.
So we cooked dinner and breakfast which was super exciting that I had never done cooking while traveling before.
There are supermarkets so no need to worry about the grocery shopping :)
We also made a to-go order from Thai restaurant nearby.
(We as Asian people miss Asian food SO MUCH during a trip...)
The only place we ate outside was Crossroads Cafe.
The local restaurant serves basic American food such as hamburgers and pancakes.
I actually order fish taco which was really delish!
食べ物は旅の大きな楽しみでもありますよね❤︎
今回はairbnbで家を一軒借りたということで、キッチンもあったので
おうちでクッキングなどしてみよう！とみんなでワクワク。
旅費の節約にもなるし、なかなか旅行中に料理って珍しい経験だとおもうので
良い思い出になると思います！
スーパーはけっこう近くにちらほらあるので、食料はそこで調達できます。
あとはお持ち帰りでタイ料理を食べたり。こちらも美味しかったです❤︎
2泊のうちで外で食べたのは、ランチのCrossroads Cafe
地元のカフェで、内装もとっても雰囲気あり。映画に出てきそうな感じ。
ハンバーガーやパンケーキもありますが私が食べたフィッシュタコス、
美味しかったのでおすすめです！
